Bye Bye 2006!
Heloo! my blog...haha, I've not posted for a long time and had only posted my pictures. Well, let me tell yyou the recent happenings:)
1) Mum bought a pair of purple sneakers for my christmas present!
2) I got into NYJC for my first 3 months, which i am very satisfied with. But i'm still wishing that i can go to SAJC:)
3) the 4 cousins had strenghtened our ties with our oldest cousin, Lionel after the Hong Kong trip.
4) I got my first product from FILA. Which is a waterbottle bought by Xing hui and lionel for my christmas present:)
5) I have been going out everyday after my hong KOng trip. I dunno why i've became so busy.
6) Oh yeah! I received a Nike watch as my christmas from ahyi and uncle tom from cananda.:)
7) I called Ahyi and uncle tom on the night of the 25th dec to wish them a merry christmas. Ahyi talked and talked about my future. Also, she reminded me that i should choose what i want to be in future and never ask for anything less.
She added, " you should start working on what you want to be now!"
"It will be very difficult if you want to switch your carrer in future!"
oh yeah. I found her words meaniful and true!
8)The christmas countdown at orchad was a memorable and eye-opening one. It was because we ( my church frineds and I) had to SQUEEZE through theoutrages crowd. Due to the presence of more men than women then, most of teh people where taller and bigger sized than me. They pushed and pushed their way through and we had to use that form of movement to move along. There were barriers put up at the sides and police stands to prevent anyone from crossing the road. HAIYA...That will be my first and last attempt of squeezing through the crowd.
9) My father called YUn, my previous maid to ask her how was she doing there in JAKARTA. The kids took turn to talk to her and i was the firsat after my dad. I continued to talk and talk to her because there were so so sos many exciting things to tell her.:P lol.She said that she had lost alot of weight and became skinny as she had missed us too much. I felt guilty upon hearing that.
She happily said, " Ling, do you know that i miss all the times when we were eating ruffles and drinking the delicious bubble tea together?"
I replied, " haha. Oh..yeah same goes for us now. We seldom drink bubble tea and eat ruffles now as we have no motivation.."
10) Everyone is working except me. Gosh, i feel wierd. but its okie cause i'm starting school soon. haha.( this is my reason for that.:P)
